Horizon House is a registered children’s home and is set to open its doors towards the end of 2024. It will provide a warm and nurturing environment for up to four children, both boys and girls aged 8 to 18 years old. Horizon House is dedicated to supporting children facing various challenges, such as:
· Social and emotional difficulties
· Mild to moderate learning difficulties
· Multiple placement breakdowns
· Emergency placements
· Attachment difficulties
· Challenging behaviour
· Adverse childhood experience’s (ACE’s)
· Trauma or loss
· ADHD
· Homelessness
Our home embraces young people from diverse backgrounds and offers individualised care packages. Placements, short and medium-term (6 months plus) to long-term accommodations based on referrals that align with our criteria. We take a holistic approach to our practice, continually expanding our knowledge and capabilities to support every young person effectively.
